According to rumor this year at Apple's annual conference there will be no announcement of a new iPhone model, unlike years that have pasted every WWDC event led to a new iPhone. But this years event will be all about the software and iOS version 5. According to rumor Apple will announce the iPhone 5 right around the holiday seasons, namely at there iPod event that goes on in September. So folks get comfortable with your iPhone 4's as that is the way it is looking right now.

More rumors on the iPhone 5!
Rumors are still flying that the iPhone 5 will have a bigger screen 4 inch's to be exact. This will have no affect on the size of the phone overall, rumor states that it will be just more screen and less phone area on the front. Also the metal backing is still a big rumor this will be replacing the current iPhone 4's glass backing. And rumors of NFC onboard as well, for those that don't know what NFC is well i'll explain it's basically like the pay as you go pass at gas stations and grocery stores. Instead though you can store all of this info on your phone and pass your phone in front of a quick pay area and beep its done.
Samsung bringing there two new tablets to the US.
Samsung introduced the new 8.9 inch tablet to its stable today at CTIA, and a redesigned thinner than the iPad 2 10.1 inch tablet. Both have dual core processors and both will come with honey comb or Android 3.0. And they will both get an update later on after there release that will include Samsung's touchwiz technology. Prices for the wifi only model are as follows. 8.9 inch wifi only 16GB 469.99; 32GB 569.99 coming in summer. And the 10.1 inch wifi only 16GB 499.99 and 32GB 599.99 coming June 8th. And as usual these devices will more than likely be coming to all four major carriers as well. Still no pricing or availability on this yet though.
Blackberry Playbook available April 19th
Pre orders opened up last night and currently Best buy has already jumped on it. Radio shack, walmart, office depot and a few other retailers will follow suit. There are three versions a 16 GB, 32 GB, and a 64 GB and they will run you 499, 599, and 699.

Earlier today the Nexus S 4G became official on Sprint and now Best Buy Mobile has announced that they will carry the phone exclusive, beyond Sprint of course. So other than those to places that is the only options you have of getting this phone. As you all know Best Buy Mobile originally carried the Nexus S for T-mobile exclusive and they will be getting this one all to themselves as well.
2 new Phones for At&t
AT&T getting a lot of press lately with there recent buy out of T-Mobile USA. But now at CTIA in Orlando they have announced two new phones coming to there stable soon. One is an old T-Mobile Windows phone 7, namely called the HTC HD7S. It has of course the 4.3 inch super LCD display a 1Ghz snap dragon cpu and windows phone 7 OS on board, this phone will be released in the coming weeks. The other phone is the likes of the LG Optimus 3D phone that was released over seas, with its dual core 1Ghz cpu 16Gb of memory, the ability to record in 2D or 3D dual 5MP cameras on the back and it'll have it own Android market place called LG 3D Space, this LG phone will be called the LG Thrill. This phone will ship in a few months no exact date yet.
Blackberry App World gets updated to version 2.1.1.2
Yesterday the blackberry App world was down for some time, and now it seems that the reason behind this is due to the fact that they were updating it. RIM has not released a change log for the update so I can't say what has changed but there is an update so get to downloading.

AT&T buys T-Mobile for 39 billion
Contrary to the current rumors of a Sprint buyout. This news throws a big monkey wrench in the cellular world. This deal will put At&t back at number one with 120 million users next is Verizon at 77 million and Sprint at 52 million. HTC EVO 3D specs revealed.
The evo one of sprints best selling phones is all but confirmed for CTIA next Tuesday. Here are some specs to wet your whistle. 4.3″ qHD 960 x 450 Autostereoscopic 3D display, 4GB of RAM, 1GB ROM, 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon CPU, dual rear 5 megapixel cameras with dedicated camera button, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, and 1730mAh battery. And that's not all there is also an evo view tablet coming in at 7 inches. Not the 10 inch one rumored and also the Samsung galaxy s 4G that is plus the hot new Motorola Xoom tablet. Looks like Sprint will own CTIA it begins next week March 22nd.

Apple seems to be going back to there roots with this new iPhone 5. If you all recall the original iPhone had a metal casing and well seems that apple is dipping back into there past. According to rumor the iPhone 5 will have a larger screen and a new metal back. Apple canned the metal casing after the original because of the attenuation with the antenna, but now that the antenna is redesigned and placed on the outside like the iPhone 4 is they can go back to the metal casing. Fring getting an update to support the Atrix and the Dell Streak
Do any of you users have one of these phones. Well if you do your in luck, Fring will be pushing an update to the Android Market soon. Facebook for Android gets a update.
Nothing big her at all a small minor update. From version 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 it's about 2.6 megs and fixes some bugs and now allows you to post a pic onto a friends wall. Also when uploading photo's they now automatically rotate in the correct orientation.
Qik launching sometime today on the iPhone
Qik announced that they will be releasing a new app today for the iPhone. This is pretty much what Android users have been having for a while now. Video calling over ( 3G and Wifi ), video messages, and the ability to live stream video to your qik.com account. The app is called Qik Video Connect and will be available in two versions a free and a paid version for $2.99.

The HTC Thunderbolt seems to be available March 17th.
The thunderbolt will finally make its debut and hit store shelves this Thursday. Verizons 1st LTE phone making its way finally. Big surprises here are one no Skype video calling app which was promised and two Verizon has been making upgrades to its network and the Thunderbolt will be able to do voice and data over its 3G CDMA network.

A supposed leaked picture of the iPhone 5 with a bigger screen
Adobe Flash Player 10.2 will be available for Android March 18th
That's right folks, 10.2 Flash player will be released in the Market March 18th and all phones running Android 2.2 and 2.3 will work fine. Also Tablets running honeycomb 3.0 will run the beta form of 10.2 flash. Currently the Motorola Xoom is currently the only tablet running honeycomb and the update that was pushed down last night to Xoom users will need to install the update in order for it to work.

Motorola Xoom getting a small update tonight

Talks of a Sprint takeover of T-mobile is starting to stir up again.
So last year there was a rumor of Sprint buying out t-mobile and then those rumors faded away. Now there are more talks of a Sprint buy out again. This would merge the 2 companies together. Only problem would be the different technologies. Sprint being CDMA and T-mobile being the GSM version. But the merger according to rumor would bring these 2 together and more than likely use the next generation in LTE, so we will see what happens with this.

According to some credible sources the 3rd largest cellular company in the US will make a big splash this year at CTIA in Orlando FL. Sprint will be hosting a 2 and a half hour show where it is there they will announce three stellar new phones to there cell phone stable. The Samsung Nexus S 4G, the EVO tablet, and the biggest the EVO 3D. Stay tuned for more info as I get it.

Apple offering a 100.00 off to any customer who recently bought an iPad 1
Apple will be giving anyone who just recently bought the original iPad on or after the 16th of February a 100.00 rebate. Due to the iPad 2 being announced yesterday all iPad version 1 have been discounted by 100.00. Sprint announcing something big come CTIA on March 22th (Think EVO 2)
Here we go again with Sprint and it's big announcements, the last time they announced a "big" phone it turned out to be a kind of disappointing dual screen phone made by kyocera called the echo. But this time rumor has it that this is the log awaited HTC codename Pyramid. Boasting Qualcomms new 1.2 GHz dual core snap dragon processor, a higher quality screen, more ram, ect....... Or maybe its not the EVO 2 the successor to Sprints best selling phone. Maybe its the LG 3D phone that has been rumored to be coming to Sprint, maybe it's both. We shall find out come CTIA in Orlando, FL.
RIM apparently is making BBM for Android and iOS soon.
Take this with a grain of salt but rumor has it that RIM the company in charge of blackberry will be or is already making a stripped down version of there BBM service for both Android and iOS. Android version is supposedly coming this year where as the iOS version will follow later on.

The colors of the iPad 2 covers!
So the iPad 2 has been announced and the specs are very impressive. Apple also pulled something out of it's hat with these new cover's for the device. They lock on with some type of magnetic hinge and come in either leather or polyurethane, the former will set you back 69.99 and the later at 39.99. They can also fold up and form some type of stand for the iPad 2, which can be used as a lift for typing or even watching a movie. The neat thing about the covers is 1) they clean your screen as they have a microfiber cloth on them. So when closed the screen gets clean, nice touch. 2) When the cover is closed it will turn the screen off automatically and when it is open the screen will come on. Check out the photo.

Comcast Releases it Xfinity app(s) for Andriod
Have an android phone? Have comcast xfinity service? Well this app(s) is for you then. Comcast has two apps out one to use as a remote control and the other is a mobile app that allows you to check your e-mail on the go. The names are Xfinity TV and Xfinity mobile. They are both in the Android market and they are both free.
