Google I/O: Google today announced Android 3.1
So this is the time of year where google gets together for their annual event simply titled Google I/O and today the show kicked off nicely. One thing that they mentioned was the release of Android 3.1 aka Honeycomb, which is available for the Xoom today. The update features the standard bug fixes and all as well as some interesting additions. You can now add pictures to your xoom from a digital camera, also there are no resizable widgets, and the ability to control a host of USB devices including your Xbox 360 controller. It also will include Googles new movie app that allows you to rent thousands of movies from them straight to your Moto Xoom.
